S.S.C. FAREWELL: BATCH OF 2021 – 22
A farewell for the S.S.C students of the Batch 2021 – 22 was organized on 22nd February 2022 in the School hall. The program began at 11.30 am with the students after assembling in the basement were led by their Class Teachers Mrs. Sheela Abraham and Mrs. Naureen Kutty to the School Hall. The students were welcomed at the entrance and then seated class-wise with social distancing protocol in place. The farewell was graced with the presence of our Principal Rev. Fr. Jude Fernandes, accompanied by our Supervisor Mrs. Annette Henriques
and Silver Jubilarian Mr. Santosh Apandkar. The program began with the comperes Mr. Anthony Colaco and Mrs. Carrie Ann welcoming the students and wishing them a wonderful time with a
reminder to follow COVID-19 protocols. The prayer service was initiated by Mrs.Fatema Saboowala who emphasized on the theme with the three R’s – Renew, Refresh and Restore. Mr. Jude Pereira continued with the prayer service asking the students to repeat a Credo followed by petitions by various teaching and nonteaching staff members. The prayer service was followed by a Welcome speech to the students by the Silver Jubilarian Mr. Santosh Apandkar who emphasized the need to have a firm belief in hard work to have success in life. Our Principal Fr. Jude Fernandes was
then invited to address the students who spoke at length on another dimension of the 3 R’s – Read, Reflect and Reinvent. He also wanted our students to follow
the Jesuit motto to become Better than the Best and a Man for Others. The games team then took over and conducted a game of Housie followed by Mr. Marian competition which was compered by Mr. Anthony Colaco. The winner of Mr. Marian was awarded to Mst. Soham Khanvilkar who had to compete with 9 other batch mates in their poise and spontaneous answer to a situation.
The students were then led to the basement and were given a Souvenir and a packed lunch. The program ended at 1.30 pm. A big Thank You to all the Staff Teachers who were involved in planning and organizing such a wonderful farewell which the students will cherish always.
