St. Mary’s High School SSC held its Annual Day Program on 20th July 2024, centered around the theme “Metamorphosis… Reinvent Yourself Endlessly.” The event commenced with a warm welcome to our chief guests, Mr. and Ms. D’Souza, parents of our School Captain, Master Tristan D’Souza, as well as Manager Fr. Yohan Alphonso , Principal Fr. Felix D’Souza, Supervisor Ms. Sheela, Abraham and other esteemed dignitaries, including the principal of a neighboring school and members of our school alumni. The program began traditionally with the offering of dates and the lighting of the lamp invoking God’s blessing.
Our wonderful, budding talented Marians under the guidance of teachers, delivered a series of engaging performances:
- A Heartfelt Welcome Song
- A Divine Prayer Dance
- A Musical Skit with an inspirational Message and vibrant UV dance performances
- Various fillers including solo performances, musical melodies, and a performance by our school band.
Our visionary Principal Fr. Felix D’Souza presented a detailed report highlighting the activities and programs conducted for students throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
Dignitaries were felicitated with creative napkin bouquets and canvas paintings crafted by students. Scholarships and academic awards were presented to students for their dedication and outstanding performances.
The program concluded with all the participants gathering on stage singing the school anthem, with great enthusiasm which will always be cherish by all those who witnessed the program. It was a delightful moment, with more than 200 students participating that evening making our Annual Day a memorable experience and a great start to the new academic year 2024-25 .
The program was highly praised by all parents and dignitaries.
Our Principal Fr. Felix D’Souza expressed gratitude to the students, teaching, and non-teaching staff for their hard work and commitment, contributing to the success of the Annual Day Program.
