On Saturday, 30 November, our school St Mary’s High School SSC, held an exciting Sports Day for the primary children, which started at 7:30 AM. The event was honored by the presence of our Principal Rev. Father Felix D’souza, Head Techer Sr.Teresa Tinsy, chief guests Mr. and Mrs. Khan, and the guest of honour Mr. and Mrs. Singh. The day was filled with energy and enthusiasm, showcasing the talents of our young athletes.
The event featured various competitions, including the 50-meter and 80-meter races, a baton relay, a parents’ game, and a PT display. The band boys also impressed everyone with an incredible band display, adding to the competitive atmosphere. All participants demonstrated great sportsmanship and skill, making the day truly special.
After the events, we held a prize distribution ceremony to recognize the winners of the races. Chief guest Mr. Khan delivered a motivational speech, encouraging the children to pursue their dreams in sports, while Mrs. Singh spoke about the importance of teamwork. The head teacher concluded the programme with a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the guests, parents, and everyone who contributed to the success of the day.
