The class assembly of Std 3 B began with the National Anthem and the pledge.
A skit was presented by the students depicting how a country’s internal conflicts based on religion paves an easy path for external enemies to take advantage and enslave us.
This was beautifully shown through a dance performance. Later, a short speech about how Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar framed our constitution and we as citizens of India accepted it on 26th January 1950, was presented.
STD 4 students gave an exhilarating dance performance on a melody of patriotic songs.
The assembly concluded by the head teacher Sr. Treasa felicitating winners of the ‘Apsara handwriting competition’.
The day was also celebrated as ‘Traditional day’. The students came dressed in traditional attire and brought traditional delicacies from home. They shared and enjoyed a variety of dishes with each other.
