World Earth Day is observed on 22nd April.We had an activity conducted by Prof.Dabir from Saboo Siddiq College of Engineering and Mr.Raees Ansari from Captech Engineering.
Students of Std 9 took part in this activity. They were shown a ppt on World Earth Day and how they can make a difference in the environment by incorporating small changes in their lifestyles. Prof.Dabir also gave a talk on the different Engineering fields open for the students as potential career options.
An essay writing competition was conducted on the topic World Earth Day.
Maitrik Jadhav of 9A won the first place, Atharva Singh of 9A won the second place and Shlok Gagre of 9A won the third place.
It was a very informative session and the students enjoyed the activity.
