Summer Camp – Teachers 2024-25
Organised by Principal Rev. Fr. Felix D’Souza

In a delightful initiative to blend fun, fitness, and fellowship, Principal Rev. Fr. Felix D’Souza organised a spirited Summer Camp for Teachers for the academic year 2024–25, held on the 23rd and 24th of April. This unique event was designed to promote camaraderie and joy among the staff before the onset of the new term.

The camp featured three thrilling sports eventsBasketball, Cricket, and Throwball—and saw participation from the entire staff of 44 members, including both teaching and administrative personnel. Everyone joined in with enthusiasm, displaying a wonderful mix of energy, team spirit, and healthy competition.

To add a splash of vibrance and identity, the staff was divided into four teams, each sporting colour-coded T-shirts:

  • Team A – Maroon
  • Team B – Green
  • Team C – Black
  • Team D – White

Day 1 commenced at 8:30 AM with Basketball and Cricket knockout rounds, building momentum and excitement across the school grounds. The matches continued till 11:45 AM, with each team giving their best.
Day 2 began bright and early at 8:00 AM and featured Throwball matches and the much-anticipated Cricket finals, wrapping up around 11:00 AM in a wave of cheers and celebration.

While there were a few minor injuries, the teachers demonstrated resilience and true sportsmanship, playing through the summer heat with smiles and determination. The atmosphere remained charged with positive energy throughout.

To ensure fairness and professionalism, referees were invited from outside the institution to officiate the matches. Their contribution added structure and neutrality to the event, and as a token of gratitude, they were presented with tokens of appreciation for their time and effort.

The smooth execution of the camp was made possible under the able coordination of the organising committee, led by Ms. Mehjabeen Bagasrawala and Mr. Sandip Yadav. Their meticulous planning and attention to detail ensured that everything ran seamlessly and joyfully.

The Summer Camp was not only a refreshing break but also a celebration of unity, wellness, and the vibrant culture within the school. It stood as a perfect reminder that sometimes, the best lessons come from simply playing together.

Thanks to the vision of Fr. Felix D’Souza and the commitment of the staff, the event was a grand success and a memorable highlight of the school year.
