On 9th and 10th December 2025, the students ofย Standard 3 and Std 4 respectively went on an educational field trip to Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai. The trip was organized to help students learn about history and nature in an interesting and practical way.
On reaching the museum, the students were impressed by the beautiful building and the various exhibits displayed inside. They observed different artefacts, sculptures, and historical objects that helped them understand the life of people in earlier times. A special attraction of the visit was the hands-on experience provided to the students. They were allowed to touch old stones that were used as weapons during the Stone Age. A guide explained how early humans used these stones for hunting and protection. The explanation was simple and informative, making it easy for the children to
understand. The students also visited the Natural History section, where they saw stuffed animals displayed in glass cases. They were amazed and
excited to see the animals up close and learned interesting facts about different species. The students listened attentively and asked many
questions throughout the visit. The trip helped them connect their classroom lessons with real-life exhibits. The field trip ended on a happy note, with the children returning to school feeling excited, informed, and enriched by the experience.
