St. Mary’s High School, Mazagaon, organized a Class Orientation Programme for the parents and students at the commencement of the new academic year 2026–2027. The orientation sessions were held on 13th June 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the respective classrooms.
The programme aimed at fostering a strong partnership between the school and parents while familiarizing them with the school’s expectations, policies, and academic procedures. The class teachers warmly welcomed the parents and introduced themselves, creating an atmosphere of openness and cooperation.
During the orientation, the parents were informed about the academic curriculum, assessment patterns, classroom rules, attendance requirements, and the importance of regular study habits. The teachers also explained the school diary, homework procedures, examination schedules, and various co-curricular activities planned for the year.
Special emphasis was laid on discipline, punctuality, grooming, and the values upheld by the institution. Parents were encouraged to maintain regular communication with the class teachers and to actively participate in their children’s educational journey. They were also briefed about the support systems available in the school to ensure the holistic development of every student.
