St. Mary’s High School (SSC), Mazagaon celebrated its Annual Day on 18th July 2026 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The programme, themed “Synergy – When Mind, Heart & Action Unite,” showcased the talents, creativity, and collaborative spirit of our students. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guests, Rev. David Malgimane and Ms. Glory Malgimane, along with our Special Guests, Captain Abhijit Bhutey and Mr. Karthikeyan Madhu. The school was also honoured by the presence of Ms. Monalisa Andrandes and Mr. Anthony Colaco, our Silver Jubilarians, and Mr. Jude Pereira, a respected retired teacher of the institution. Their presence added warmth, inspiration, and a sense of pride to the celebration. The programme commenced with the arrival of the distinguished guests, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp and a prayer service, invoking God’s blessings on the gathering. The welcome song and prayer dance set a serene and uplifting tone for the evening. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Felix D’Souza, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements in academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and community outreach programmes during the academic year. The cultural programme was a vibrant display of talent and teamwork. Through music, dance, drama, and creative performances, students beautifully brought to life the theme of synergy, emphasizing the power of unity, compassion, and collective effort. The audience was captivated by the performances, which reflected months of dedication and hard work by students and teachers alike. A special segment of the evening was the felicitation of outstanding achievers. Students were recognized for their excellence in academics, sports, and various co-curricular activities. The school also felicitated Ms. Monalisa Andrandes and Mr. Tony Colaco on completing twenty-five years of dedicated service, and honoured Mr. Jude Pereira for his valuable contribution to the institution over the years. Their achievements and commitment served as an inspiration to the entire Marian family. The highlight of the evening was the spectacular skit and grand finale, which received immense appreciation from the audience. The performances conveyed meaningful messages and showcased the confidence, creativity, and teamwork of the students. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, staff, parents, volunteers, students, and all those who contributed to the success of the event.
