Nature Club Activities
On 15th July,2016: Know the trees in St. Mary’s Mr. Kaustubh & Ms. Janice from Greenline guided 30 students of the Nature Club in identifying and mapping the trees in our school compound. We have trees like Copper pot, Indian cork, Mast tree, Desi badam, Umber, Karanj, Silver oak etc in our school.
30 trees of 14 different species were mapped. The students will label the trees accordingly in the next week.
Tr. Archana and B.Ed teacher-students also assisted in the activity. It was a great experience and the awareness level of the students defini tely increased a lot.
