On Saturday, 13th August, the eve of the Independence Day, the Students of the St Mary’s School Band had the amazing opportunity of witnessing the Indian Navy Band playing at St Joseph’s High School, Bandra. The school was celebrating its 140 years as well as the country’s 70th Independence Day. They had invited 25 schools across Mumbai, our school being one! An inspiring audio visual on the kind of tasks the Navy performs and how a student can enroll in it enthralled the audience. The Navy Band played Indian and International numbers melodiously.
