An assembly on Communication-a journey from smoke signals to wifi was put up by students of Std 9A and 9C on 21st November 2016 in the school hall.The students traced the journey of communication right from the time smoke signals were used till the present day scenario of wifi via a powerpoint presentation.This was followed by an interactive session with the students.The students reflected on the effects of social media like whatsapp and facebook and discussed their implications on society.Rev Fr. Jude Fernandes also gave his esteemed opinion on the topic.In the end an action plan was suggested by the students as to how to use the social media most effectively in their lives.The session was an enlightening experience for one and all.
