St. Mary’s High School SSC has been awarded the International Dimension School award. The entire staff worked towards achieving this and we came out successful. Throughout the year, right from the primary to Std 10, all the teachers and students have been working on different activities.
We had seven activities
1) At the farm
2) Fibre to Fashion
3) MLP
4) Rivers – A lifeline
5) Green meals
6) Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
7) Vaccinate – Don’t Procrastinate.
We had to prepare a Portfolio and submit the same.
All the activities were finished on time. Last March, during the lockdown we worked online and made the portfolio and submitted the same in August. In January, we received the results and were declared successful. Today on 24th March 2021, we attended a virtual online awards ceremony. We received a trophy and certificates.
We thank our Principal, Rev Fr Jude Fernandes for giving us this wonderful opportunity to showcase our inner talents and provide exceptional learning opportunities to our students. Also thanking the coordinators, Tr. Annette Henriques and Tr. Fatema Saboowala for their relentless efforts, from the conception of the lesson plans to the final submission of the portfolio.
