The Base Line test at St Mary’s will be conducted as follows:
Students of Std 1st to 4th as follows:
Subject Language : Tuesday, 5th April 2016 after the Summative Exam till 12:30 pm.
Subject Mathematics: Wednesday, 6th April 2016 after their Summative Exam till 12:30 pm
Students of Std 5th to 8th as follows:
Subject Language : Tuesday, 5th April 2016 after the Summative Exam till 2:45 pm.
Subject Mathematics: Wednesday, 6th April 2016 after the summative Exam till 2:45 pm
The Base line test includes a written exam and practicals and so teachers will use the entire day to complete this test.
Please make necessary arrangements for his lunch and travel.

The state education department had decided to conduct baseline or competency tests for all students between STD II and VIII to test the basic competency of students to qualify for that class. The decision was taken to assess the quality of education since it was feared that the no-fail policy till Std VIII would affect the quality of students to a great extent.
