St. Mary’s High School (SSC) held the blessing and inauguration of its Right Wing Display Boards on 21st October, 2026 celebrating its rich heritage and Jesuit educational tradition. The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Tr. Gulnaz Khan followed by the inauguration by Rev. Fr. Savio Fernandes SJ who led the gathering in prayer and blessed the displays with holy water.
Featuring the institution’s history, 20 eminent Jesuit scientists and nine distinguished educational philosophers, the displays celebrate remarkable contributions to science and education while inspiring students to uphold Jesuit values and strive for Education for Human Excellence.
The school expresses its sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Yohan Alphonso SJ and the Jesuit community for their guidance and support. The project reflects the vision and dedicated efforts of the Principal, Rev. Fr. Felix D’Souza SJ whose commitment brought the initiative to fruition. The school also acknowledges the valuable contribution of the Display Committee led by Supervisor Mrs. Sheela Abraham along with Tr. Rochelle D’Sa, Tr. Sheryl Gonsalves and Tr. Maria Fernandes.
The displays stand as a tribute to the Jesuit educational mission encouraging students to pursue knowledge with curiosity, uphold strong values and use their learning in the service of others.
