The Primary Section of St Mary’s High School, SSC celebrated Green week / Tagore week from 18th November to 22nd November 2024.
The theme for this week was ‘Harmony through Creativity’. The primary corridor was decorated with charts and posters depicting the life and work of Shri Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Many activities were conducted during this week to induce imagination and creativity among the students. On Friday, 22nd November, the teachers and students came dressed up in green. The Green house captain along with his co-leaders spoke about the life journey, achievements and the great work done by Rabindranath Tagore. They also learnt about his contribution in the literature world and in education. Through this, the children took away an important lesson about how harmony can be achieved through creativity and through acceptance and tolerance of different ideas and views.
