The KG section children of The Bombay St. Mary’s Society went on an exciting and educational field trip to Jijamata Udyan also known as Byculla Zoo. The children were filled with excitement and curiosity as they boarded the bus along with their teachers and friends. The journey itself was full of laughter, songs, and cheerful conversations.
When they reached the zoo, the children were amazed to see the large and beautiful zoo filled with trees, flowers, and different kinds of animals. They saw hippopotamus, deer, elephants, monkeys, tigers, penguins and many colorful birds. The teachers guided the children and explained interesting facts about each animal, helping them learn how animals live, what they eat, and how we should take care of them.
The children also visited the garden area, where they enjoyed seeing a variety of plants and blooming flowers. They were fascinated by the beauty of nature and observed butterflies fluttering around. After exploring the zoo, everyone sat together to enjoy their snacks. It was a joyful moment as they shared food, laughed, and talked about their favorite animals.
The trip to Jijamata Udyan was a fun-filled and memorable learning experience for all the children. It helped them to connect with nature, understand the importance of animals in our world, and develop a love for the environment. They learned about the difference between the domestic and wild animals.
