Event: Football in the Rain
A Football activity was conducted in the kindergarten to promote physical fitness, motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and enjoyment among the children. The football games and simple drills were used so that the activity remained safe, fun, and engaging for young learners. ย The children participated in basic movement exercises such as running, walking, kicking, stopping the ball, and passing in pairs. Some activities also included simple football-themed games, relays, and free play with a soft ball to help build confidence and improve balance and eye-foot coordination. The activity helped children develop gross motor skills, concentration, turn-taking, and group participation. It also encouraged children to follow instructions, wait for their turn, and work together as a team. Most children showed excitement and active involvement throughout the session. They enjoyed kicking the ball, moving around the play area, and taking part in group games. The activity created a cheerful environment and supported both physical and social development . Overall, the football activity was successful and beneficial for kindergarten children. It provided healthy exercise, improved basic sport skills, and made learning through play enjoyable.
