The primary section of St Mary’s High School SSC celebrated Green house week from 22nd August to 26th August.
The teachers put up charts on the boards with the theme “Go Green” and shared educative videos/pictures with the students on the need of trees and why we should not cut trees. Teachers spoke to students about why we should plant more trees.
The first floor corridor was decorated keeping in mind the theme for this week ‘Go Green’. Work experience, art and craft activities were conducted among the students. Students also wrote a composition on the Importance of trees.
Students and teachers came dressed in green colour on 26th August. The Tagore house captain (green house) went around all the primary classes with the Tagore house flag.
The day ended with many pictures taken of the students, teachers in green and charts put up on all the boards outside the classes.
