On August 15th, 1947, India gained independence from British rule, and every year since, this day has been a proud reminder of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters. This year, as we celebrate the 78th anniversary of India’s independence, we reflect on the theme ‘Junoon Azadi Ka’, which honors the indomitable spirit and relentless passion of those who fought for our freedom.
Our freedom fighters were the backbone of the independence movement. They inspired and ignited the flame of resistance in the hearts of millions, empowering them to stand against injustice. Their courage and determination taught us the value of our rights and the strength we possess as a people.
With immense gratitude, we first thank God Almighty for His blessings and presence in our journey. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Principal, Rev. Fr. Felix D’Souza, for his constant guidance and unwavering support.
A special thank you to our supervisor, Ms. Sheela Abraham, for her steadfast assistance and invaluable help. We are deeply grateful to our Chief Guest, Mrs. Jeannette Rodrigues, for graciously accepting our invitation and honoring us with her presence today.
Our sincere thanks also go to Mr. Wilson for being with us, the PTA members for their continuous support, and all our staff members, including our Administrator, Mr. Orlando Vaz, and the dedicated support staff, for their tireless efforts in making today’s event a success.
A special mention to Master Umair Ansari for his exceptional help in recording and editing the kit and songs. Lastly, our heartfelt thanks to all the student participants and their parents for their dedication and involvement.
