The Monsoon Week was celebrated in kindergarten to help children learn about the rainy season through fun, age-appropriate, hands-on activities. The week included show and tell activities, songs, stories, and simple observations that made learning joyful and memorable.
Teachers conducted storytelling and rhymes related to rain and monsoon.
The children learned to recognize common monsoon elements like umbrellas, clouds, rain, foods and paper boats. They also developed fine motor skills, creativity, listening skills, and vocabulary through craft and group activities. The week helped them connect classroom learning with real-life seasonal changes in a simple and enjoyable way.
Monsoon Week was a cheerful and engaging experience for the kindergarten children. It created excitement in the classroom while building awareness about nature and the rainy season.
