The celebration began with a brief introduction to the significance of Raksha Bandhan, highlighting the sacred bond between brothers and sisters. The teachers explained the importance of love, care, and protection that the festival symbolizes in a child-friendly manner.
Children came dressed in traditional attire, adding color and charm to the occasion. They actively participated in various fun-filled and meaningful activities such as:
Rakhi Making: Students made beautiful Rakhi’s using craft materials like colored threads, beads, and glitter, showcasing their creativity and imagination.
Storytelling Session: Teachers narrated simple stories about the origin and meaning of Raksha Bandhan.
Rakhi Tying Ceremony: In a symbolic gesture, students tied Rakhi’s on each otherโs wrists, promoting the spirit of unity, love, and friendship.
