The Primary Section of St Maryโs High School, SSC celebrated โRed weekโ from 7th to the 14th of February, with the theme “Valour for Peace,” inspired by the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This special week aimed to instill the values of bravery, leadership, and peace, which Shivaji Maharaj embodied throughout his life.
On the 13th of February, teachers and students from grades I to IV participated by wearing red colour dress symbolizing their unity and commitment to the theme. Each class was engaged in discussions about the significance of Red Week and the values that Shivaji Maharaj stood for, such as courage, justice, and respect for all.
The corridors were beautifully decorated by the std I students, who created lovely heart wall hangings. This creative activity not only added a vibrant touch to the school environment but also allowed the students to express their understanding of love and peace, further emphasizing the theme of the week. Overall, Red Week was a successful initiative that developed a sense of community and encouraged students to embody the noble values of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
