On 26 July 25 , a group of 43 students and scouts along with teacher and scout masters went on a memorable hike to Kondana Caves, located near Karjat in Maharashtra. The trek began from Kondana village, taking us through lush green forests, small streams, and scenic waterfalls—especially refreshing during the monsoon season.
The ancient Buddhist caves, dating back to the 1st century BCE, offered a fascinating glimpse into history with their rock-cut architecture, including a large Chaitya hall and meditation cells. Students explored the site, clicked group photos.
The hike helped scouts learn about nature, teamwork, and history. It was a day filled with learning, adventure, and fun—leaving everyone with lasting memories and stronger bonds.
