One of the most sweet sour moment in the lives of students of Std 10 is their Farewell social.On one hand they look forward to a fun filled afternoon where they will go dressed in formals, looking dapper and on the other hand, the realisation that they are leaving the safe confines of the school and stepping out in the big bad world.For the teachers too its a day of mixed emotions and the teachers try their best to plan a perfect farewell party for the students.
This year was no exception.The SSC farewell was held on 1st February 2024 in the school hall.The event began with the students walking in the hall led by The Principal Fr.Felix D’souza, Supervisor Ms.Sheela Abraham, Primary Head Teacher Sr Treasa Tinsy, Pre primary coordinator Ms Celia Ann Robinson and all the teachers.
Once settled in the hall, there was a very meaningful prayer service held for the students.
Ms. Sangeeta Yadav then gave a message to the students. This was followed by serving of snacks and some games. The students participated enthusiastically.
The highlight of the programme was the Mr. Marian contest which was deservedly won by the school captain Master Mohsin Khan. Fr Felix addressed the students and gave them some valuable tips on how to face life. Ms Sheela also wished them a bright future ahead.The class teachers also shared some special moments which they had with them during the academic year.
The school gave a folder as a memento and the PTA gave a transparent pouch which is very useful in the SSC exams.
There was a sumptuous buffet waiting in the basement for the students ,which they really relished.
Lots of selfies were clicked by the students with their teachers.
The party ended late in the afternoon and as the students left the hallowed ground of their Alma Mater, their hearts were filled with a multitude of emotions and cherished memories.
