On 12th December, the students of Std. I went on an educational field trip to the Byculla Fire Station. The trip was organised to help the children learn about fire safety and the important role of fire fighters in our community. The students were warmly welcomed by the fire fighters at the station. They explained their daily duties and showed the children the fire engines, ladders and safety equipment. The students were excited to see the fire engine up close and learned how quickly fire fighters respond during emergencies. The fire fighters also taught the children simple fire safety rules such as not playing with matchsticks and calling the fire brigade for help. The students listened attentively and asked many questions. The visit was very informative and enjoyable. The students learned to respect fire fighters and understood the importance of safety. The field trip to the Byculla Fire Station was a memorable experience for all.
