Our school celebrated Yellow Week with great joy and enthusiasm from 28th September to 2nd October 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.
The week was filled with meaningful and creative activities. The students of Std. 4 prepared beautiful and informative posters on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, highlighting his principles of truth, non-violence, and simplicity. All classes conducted special in-class activities on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, including drawing, colouring, slogan writing, and storytelling sessions based on Bapu’s life. To inspire our young learners, students were also shown engaging videos on the life of Gandhiji and the great work done by him for our nation’s freedom. The videos helped students understand his values of peace, cleanliness, and self-reliance.
Overall, Yellow Week was a wonderful blend of learning and fun, spreading the brightness of the colour yellow along with the noble ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
